October 14 Arles and Avignon and the 15th, Avignon

Awake to the rich light and color of Provence that permeated the canvases of van Gogh and Cezanne. Enjoy the morning at your leisure to explore the Roman town of Arles. This afternoon, your excursion takes you through the Baux de Provence, overlooking its rich valley and orchards of olive trees, as you travel to the remote and hidden vineyard Romanin. The location & natural environment of this vineyard is crucial to growing the vines, which are cultivated using biodynamic mehtods. Enjoy a walking tour through this unique winery, and take in the beautiful views of the Alpilles in the background. Romanin Vineyard Tour included.

The next morning your excursion takes you to the Chateau de Clary, home of the Wine & Taste Academy, for a wine tasting lesson. Learn how to describe a wine's color, flavor and more. October 16 Vienne and Lyon


Relax and enjoy the sights this morning while you cruise to the town of Vienne. An afternoon excursion will take you for a visit of Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France, including the Fourviere Hill for Exciting views over the city and countryside.
